OUTBACK Magazine STATIONS 9 Special Issue

For the eighth edition of OUTBACK Stations magazine, we’ve sent photojournalists from one end of the country to the other to build a comprehensive overview of the Australian pastoral industry. With engaging storytelling and stunning imagery, each of the 10 stories delivers insight into the history, people, infrastructure and endeavours of the featured properties. From family operations including Branga Plains in the NSW New England region, Coliban Park in Central Victoria and Dunluce in north-western Queensland to vast corporate enterprises such as Harvest Road’s Springvale in WA’s Kimberley and Consolidated Pastoral Company’s Isis Downs in Queensland’s Central West, the team has built a compelling review of the sheep and cattle industry in Australia today. They travelled across a vast swathe of the Australian bush – from De Grey station in WA’s Pilbara and Umbearra in the NT’s Red Centre to Macumba in SA’s Far North, Hazeldean in the Monaro high country of NSW and Kenilworth in Tasmania’s Midlands – to create the latest volume in the OUTBACK Stations library.
