In this month’s OP, discover a refreshingly stripped-back approach to photography with Craig Roberts as he shows you how to let your creativity flow freely. We talk to James Silverthorne about his unusual introduction to wildlife photography, plus we delve into Peter Cairns’ new ebook Cairngorms showcasing a selection of his stunning tree and forest images.
Plus:
• David Wards explains why you should always allow your unique vision to shine through in your work, while Lee Frost provides us with essential tips to photographing waterfalls in all their glory.
• Welsh photographer Paul Edwards braves the OP hot seat and reveals the benefits of working close to home, plus our pick of inspiring images from this year’s International Garden Photographer of the Year competition.
• Wildlife photographer David Lloyd experiments with a creative camera technique in the Masai Mara and we explore the ingenious adaptation that enable some animals to see in the dark.
• Andy Luck puts Sony’s latest full frame interchangeable lens compact camera, the A7r, through its paces, and Judy Armstrong tests a selection of four hydration packs.
• We bring you 10 photogenic locations to shoot this month, plus our monthly photo challenge, news, reviews, events, and your chance to get published in OP!
