With Mick out of the country, Linda looking after Elaine, and Shirley in prison, it’s down to Tina to act as the head of the family at Sylvie’s funeral this week.
The turnout is tiny, much to her disappointment, but things improve at the wake in The Vic, where Tina’s pleased to find her mum’s old friends waiting to pay their respects. But the Carters’ attention is soon turned elsewhere when a shock new arrival turns the family dynamic upside down. Feeling bad that she’s not around to help her struggling family, Linda sends Woody, the bar manager from Elaine's pub in Watford, to help out.
