A new research review has shone a light on a lesser-known berry variety – the Aronia – which may boost recovery and contribute to the prevention of health conditions like cardiovascular disease, diabetes, kidney disease and some cancers.
The findings, published in Complete Nutrition journal, show the nutritional and polyphenol properties of Aronia berries, and their correlation to a range of health benefits, including reduced inflammation and oxidative damage, which may aid recovery.
