Longmead Publishing is an independent publisher of fiction novellas and novels by new or previously unpublished authors.
Longmead Publishing is the brainchild of author Tony Cornish, who has been involved in publishing for over thirty years producing teaching materials for Oxford University Press, Prentice Hall and others, history books for WH Smith and most recently for Anova Books (The Voyages of Captain Cook). In his early career he ran a publishing services company, edited magazines and established a history imprint — the Ceiriog Press. ‘More recently, I ventured into the world of fiction, thereby discovering how difficult, even discouraging, it is for writers to unlock the help and support vital to bring a manuscript to the point of publication and started working up the principles behind Longmead Publishing.’ Longmead’s first release, the novella Peachstone Black: the Thirteenth Labour of Aloysius Beade, was published in 2015.
