Jason Halvorsen’s Custom Ford Mach-E is Lighting Up the Florida Mod Scene

J ASON Halvorsen is a yacht captain who lives in Hollywood, Florida. He’s also a car fanatic with a passion for modified electric vehicles. In 2021, he decided to build his own custom Mach-E GT and was lucky enough to get his hands on an early version.

Jason knew he wanted to be the first person in the world to slam the car to the ground, but he knew that it would be a challenge to do so on an EV. The rear electric motor and suspension are extremely crowded, so it would take a lot of cutting and welding to get all the components to fit without rubbing. He visited several custom shops, but no one was willing to take on the challenge of modifying the suspension components on a brand-new all-wheeldrive electric SUV.
