JARGON Shared matches BUSTEDBUSTED
I’ve talked a lot about clustering matches in your research. If you’ve tested with MyHeritage DNA or uploaded to them and paid the one off unlock fee to use their tools then why not try their AutoClusters? It does exactly what it says – clustering your matches for you so you can get going on the hard work – finding who your common ancestors are.
DNA help for Genealogy (UK): I’ve mentioned this extremely helpful Facebook group before but during lockdown its manager Donna Rutherford posted an excellent video on DNA research methodology which is a must-watch. Donna (an experienced international speaker who was due to talk at Family Tree Live this year) covers clustering techniques and fantastic tips on sleuthing your matches trees!
