Well, what an end to the racing year we had. MotoGP may have been sewn up early doors, but it still held a lot of intrigue, while both BSB and WSB went down to the wire in their own way. Last issue just missed out on Cal Crutchlow’s win at Phillip Island, and I wanted to say well done to him here. How pleasing was it to see a proper dry win? It’s confirmed that the guy can ride in all conditions and win when the time’s right. Whatever you think of Cal, you can’t deny he’s had a stunning second half of 2016 with two wins and a second at Silverstone. After the first half of the season was so appalling I was a worried man. He was beating the crap out of himself, but pulled himself up and came good – although two DNFs to finish the season are a bit of a disappointment.
Don’t ask...
