In 2006 another early addition to Character’s rage of 5.5” figures was the Gelth Zombie – the corpse of an old woman, reanimated by aliens used to murder her own grandson on Christmas Eve. In 2007 Mrs Peace was rereleased as a Woolworths exclusive, with the additional feature of a glow-in-the-dark head and hands. This allowed fans to recreate the climax of her brief appearance, in which the elderly lady is illuminated from within as the Gelth emerge from her mouth.
The gaseous forms were also represented in the range by the Gelth Phantom figure – a2008 ‘collect-and-build’ item that had to be assembled from seven different pieces. Each of the components could be found packaged with another separate figure, spread out among a selection of characters from Series 1 to 3.
