As part of the 3.75” line, the Character Options version of the Dalek that the time travellers venture inside is already rather on the small side. Rusty the Dalek, with his various cable attachments and augmented gun and sucker sticks, was originally released as a single carded figure as part of the main range. He was then rereleased as a moving version, exclusive to an Into the Dalek cardboard-based playset. This revised version of the figure is battery-operated and, when switched on, can glide across surfaces thanks to some rapidly vibrating underside brushes. The playset also includes a black variant of the Dalek Hoverbout vehicle – aflying device popularised in various Dalek comic-strip adventures. The model features a surprisingly detailed underside (bottom right).
