The newly shrunk main range included a Weeping Angel figure in its Series 7 single-carded selection. As was by now traditional, there were both ‘calm’ and ‘screaming’ variants; the open-mouthed version received an update, with a more cracked stone finish.
The 3.75” line was accompanied by a series of playsets constructed from cardboard. Though not terribly popular with some fans, they did include exclusive plastic figures and accessories that complemented the main range. An Angels Take Manhattan Set was worth acquiring for the collection of six cherub figurines that came with it. These little plastic statues, representing the infant Angels that Rory faced in Julius Grayle’s cellar, were not articulated.
