These shorts have adjustable side seams, so you can shorten them on warm days when you’re out on the trails. This is done by a small drawstring that gathers the side seam to the hip. It does, however, leave you with a short cord bouncing around which some runners could find annoying. There’s a big, expandable zip pocket on the back which can carry gels or your phone – I managed to actually get both in. There is also an internal pocket though this is pretty small and I only just managed to get my keys in. Overall, I found them to be a comfortable, lightweight pair of shorts and I was pleased to see that 100% of the main material is made with recycled content.
