Lese Eigen
Eigen is a room-modelling reverb which lets you set your audio source and listening position within a room with proportions of your choosing. Want to listen to a clap from the other end of a narrow hallway? Or a piano suspended from the top of a sports hall? You can do that here. The plugin has a use case for both musical applications and sound for video.
Going further, Eigen lets you set each of the six surfaces to be made of different materials, and an inbuilt room resonant analyser lets you spot problem frequencies in your made-up room. It can also export an impulse response of the room you’ve designed.
ROOM SIZE
First off, let’s start by setting the size and proportions of our room. While most other reverb plugins simply have a “Size” control which determines the total size or space of your room, Eigen actually lets you set the width (X), height (Y) and length (Z) of your room. Click and drag the room dimension figures to adjust them to your desired size. The room visualisation will reflect the changes you make, and you can alter the perspective of the visualisation using the View Angle Adjustment slider on the left.
