Arriving on their private jet, jet last week, George and Amal Clooney landed
in Lake Como with their newborn twins Ella and Alexander for their first holiday as a family. Pictures soon emerged of the pair looking in high spirits as they enjoyed a handful of dinner dates in the Italian town, where they
own a villa. Out of respect for their privacy, the two-month-old twins were kept firmly out of the public eye – until last Friday. In grainy photographs taken on a long-lens camera and published on the front page of French magazine Voici, George, 56, and Amal, 39, were seen holding their children accompanied by a headline which read, ‘The first photos! The twins are here.’ Amal is already concerned for their safety, which has only got worse since the birth of their children,’ said an insider. ‘The latest incident has really galvanised her and George. They are hell-bent on doing whatever it takes to protect the twins and they’ve told their security advisors that money is not an issue when it comes to ensuring their safety.
