➊ Easy BluesVamp (E)
We start with a fun blues vamp (E7-A7) made for practising the switch between the I7 (1) chord and the IV7 (4) chord. E Minor Pentatonic (E-G-A-B-D) works all over, but try E Mixolydian (E-F#-G#-A-B-C#-D) on the E7 chords and then switch to E Dorian mode (E-F#-G-A-B-C#-D) – aka A Mixolydian – for the A7 chords.
