This month in Gun Trade World…

T&G SHOW
In 2014, representatives from 541 individual retailers from the shooting and fishing trades visited the Tackle & Guns Trade Show.
This years event takes place on Sunday 11th and Monday 12th October at Stoneleigh Park, near Birmingham, England.

COMPANY PROFILE - YUKON
Yukon Advanced Optics from Lithuania with love.
Among the companies spearheading the global night-vision market, Yukon Advanced Optics Worldwide is certainly no stranger. With up to 20 per cent of its product range renewed yearly, the Lithuanian company consistently keeps evolving and reinventing itself.
Yukon Advanced Optics Worldwide was founded in the 1990s through a collaboration between two private enterprises, one from Belarus, which had been producing spotting scopes since 1991, and a trading company based in Texas specialised in daylight optical devices such as spotting scopes and binoculars. With a growing range of daylight optics in its portfolio, Yukon first started manufacturing night-vision units in 1999. Only two years later, its first night-vision riflescope was unleashed on the market.

GREAT GEAR
Turning night into day.
When a dedicated night scope/rifle combo is out of the question, a night-vision attachment for your daylight scope is the ideal alternative. This month’s Great Gear sheds light on some of these systems and their advantages.
Some may think a rifle fitted with a dedicated night-vision riflescope is the ideal tool for night shooting. In some cases this may be true, in others not so. Turning your daylight scope into a night-vision rig with an attachment has a lot of advantages.

Also other articles like: Fausti, Merkel's Barrel-Making Skills, Making Contact, US Industry Summit and much more.
