Gunmart

May-25 Right then, the latest issue of Gun Mart is here, and it’s absolutely brimming! Kicking things off, Ed Jackson managed to take a trip to a new underground rifle range tucked away in rural Suffolk. Over in the airgun section, Mark Camoccio is back with a stack of reviews. He gives the Air Arms S510R Core a thorough going over and finds it to be a lightweight hunter with real pedigree. Fans of classic wheelguns will want to check out his take on Umarex’s replica Smith & Wesson Model 29. It looks the part and performs beautifully. He also runs the Konus Glory 2-16x50 scope through its paces and tests the FX Dynamic Compact Takedown, a precision airgun designed for stealth and versatility. In the firearms section, Chris Parkin enjoys some time with the brand-new, super-slick Mauser 25 Max and the robust WBP AK-47 straight-pull. Jules Whicker tests two thermal monoculars from Pixfra, while Bruce Potts offers a useful rifle moderator round-up. For the handloaders, Mark Underwood shares some tips on bullet seating. Finally, in Country & Shotgun, Bruce Potts assesses Browning’s latest 825 Pro Sport Adjustable and takes a pretty detailed look at some of Sellier & Bellot’s Practical Slug ammunition. Meanwhile, Rob Smith gets hands-on with the Fabarm Elos N2 RS Sporting, a quality shotgun that won’t break the bank.
