Monday to Friday I have rye bread with avocado and chilli, or Greek yoghurt with low-sugar, gluten-free granola. I’ve gone off eggs since being pregnant so, at the weekend, I make ricotta pancakes with chilli and maple butter.
JENNA SAYS: Avocado is a great source of folate, which is important in pregnancy as it reduces the risk of birth defects. Rye bread is high in fibre, but Sophie shouldn’t overdo the maple butter as it’s a source of sugar and will generate a blood-sugar spike.
