BABY LOVE
As TV personality Sam Faiers launches a children’s bath and body range, she talks to HELLO! about sensitive skin, school runs and summer roadtrips
After seven years, Sam Faiers has announced she’s leaving her hit ITVBe series The Mummy Diaries to “focus on new adventures” – and the 30-year-old star isn’t hanging around.
Earlier this year Sam, mum to Paul Jr, five, and three-year-old Rosie (together left with Mum) with her partner Paul Knightley, launched her own children’s toiletries line, Knightley’s Adventures, in Tesco, and is already focusing on the next step.
“This is a project that means so much to me,” she says. “I really wanted to do a collection that was eye-catching, vibrant and playful, but most importantly, good for our children’s skin and hair.”
We caught up with Sam to find out more…
How did Knightley’s Adventures come about, Sam?
“It’s something we’d wanted to do since I first had little Paul. I wanted it to be suitable for tiny babies up to older children, so it was important for it to be gentle, and I felt there was a need for a range that was natural, vegan, not tested on animals, but also at a really good price point. It had to be dermatologically tested and paediatrician approved, too. I wouldn’t actually want to do it if I couldn’t have done it that way.”
