Arecent study revealed that more than 70% of young women with urinary incontinence hadn’t spoken to their GP about their symptoms. “Some suffer for years because they’re too embarrassed to talk about it,” says intimate women’s health expert Dr Shirin Lakhani, of Elite Aesthetics. “Nobody should suffer in silence with conditions that can be treated.”
