ZOE LYONS
The comedian endured a midlife crisis and a return of her alopecia during Covid-19 – but audiences on her latest tour will hear the funny side
Zoe Lyons has had quite the couple of years. She turned 50 during the pandemic, had a midlife crisis, briefly separated from her partner of 24 years and dealt with alopecia. But as an award-winning comedian, Zoe has been able to find the funny side – and is now ready to tell the tale to audiences around the UK on tour.
“I turned 50, I had a combover and I’d left my wife, so it was a massive clichéd midlife crisis – and on top of that, I’d bought a sports car,” Zoe, now 51, tells HELLO! in our exclusive interview ahead of embarking on her 39-date stand-up extravaganza, Bald Ambition, this Thursday.
