Understated yet compellingly beautiful, Time + Tide Mchenja (3) is a cluster of reed-walled suites dotted along the banks of the Luangwa River. You can expect to spend much of your stay bumping about the bush on pulse-quickening game drives, but it would be a shame not to spend an hour or two on your terrace, spying elephants trudging beside the water, or soaking in your roll-top tub (2) as the light pours in.
