JOSH HARTNETT
STAR OF PSYCHOLOGICAL THRILLER ‘TRAP’ ON BEING A HOLLYWOOD HEARTTHROB, TAKING HIS DAUGHTERS TO SEE TAYLOR SWIFT AND HIS KILLER NEW ROLE
INTERVIEW: SALLY JAMES/FEATS PRESS
He made his name playing a hero in action movies Pearl Harbor and Black Hawk Down in the early 2000s. But for his latest role, Josh Hartnett becomes a villain instead, portraying a serial killer in M Night Shyamalan’s psycho-thriller, Trap.
Now 46, the Hollywood heart-throb has largely stayed under the radar in recent years, starring in small, independent films as well as stepping behind the camera and producing.
He has also moved away from Tinseltown for a quiet life in the English countryside with his actress wife Tamsin Egerton. After meeting on set, they began dating in 2012 and secretly wed in November 2021. By then, they were also parents to three children – in February this year Josh revealed the couple had welcomed their fourth.
