We meet fitness guru Alice Liveing to hear what it was like to work with the Queen and why gut health is more than what you put in your mouth
Personal trainer and best-selling author Alice Liveing has had a busy year, from a fairytale wedding to her partner Patrick Murphy in May to releasing her memoir, Give Me Strength, and, as a survivor of abuse in an earlier relationship, featuring in the Queen’s ITV documentary about domestic violence, Her Majesty the Queen: Behind Closed Doors.
It’s been a whirlwind of emotions, but one thing has stayed consistent through it all: her passion for fitness and nurturing her body, while still enjoying life to the full. Here, she talks to HELLO! about how her partnership with Bio-Kult has reframed her relationship with her gut, what she learnt from spending time with the Queen and how she’ll be taking time for herself during party season.
Alice, has gut health always been a priority for you or is it something you’ve taken more interest in recently?
“It’s something that has become more of a focus for me over the past couple of years. Generally, we’re understanding more about the role of gut health and particularly its correlation to exercise, movement and stress. All these things interplay with each other.
