MY LITTLE LUXURIES

DONNA IDA

Cartier and Chanel splurges, walks in the Cotswolds, an early night wearing freshly ironed pyjamas… jeans queen Donna Ida Thornton tells us what luxury means to her

Fashion brand Donna Ida launched in 2006, after its Sydney-born founder Donna Ida Thornton spotted a gap in the market for a one-stop shop dedicated to premium denim.

Recognising that women often struggled to find the perfect fit, she set out to create a brand that focused on flattering cuts, high-quality fabrics and timeless style.

Over the years, it has become a go-to destination for denim lovers, offering everything from classic jeans to boilersuits and jumpsuits.

She lives at historic Langdon Court in Devon with her husband, restaurateur Robert Walton – affectionately known as “Dazzler” – and their pack of chihuahuas.
