Has therapy to help accept her appearance Linda Evangelista has opened up about needing therapy after experiencing rare side-effects from a cosmetic procedure. The supermodel, 59, revealed in 2021 that she was left “permanently deformed” after cryolipolysis fat-freezing treatment in 2016. She retreated from public view after it caused “bulges” to cover her body.

In a new interview, she revealed: “I have to go through therapy to like what I see when I look in the mirror, and I still don’t look in the mirror.”

Linda said she is now “getting comfortable” with her appearance, having undergone a double mastectomy after a breast cancer diagnosis in 2018.
