Highlights of the Judith Howard collection of Sèvres porcelain sold at Woolley & Wallis on February 4. 1. A Vincennes bleu celeste circular dish (plat d’entremets) from the first Louis XV service c.1754-55, painted by Pierre-Antoine Méreaud, broken and repaired with rivets, 12½in (32cm), £25,000.
5. A Sèvres two-handled cup and saucer (gobelet etrusques et soucoupe) c.1800, painted by Louis-Antoine Le Grand with chinoiserie panels on a ground of radiating lilac and gilt stripes, £6500.
