Good luck to Active Schools young leaders

The waiting is almost over … and the winners of the Provost’s Civic Pride Awards 2018 will be re-vealed tonight (Friday). After months of searching, we are about to find out which of North Ayrshire’s unsung community heroes will find themselves in the awards’ hall of fame.

Arran’s Active Schools young leaders will be at the awards ceremony at the Portal in Irvine to find out if they have won the sports award.

Provost Ian Clarkson will present awards to the winners of each of the five categories – the citizen of the year, young citizen of the year, arts and culture award, community group award, and the sports award, all voted for by the public.
