was said to be inspired by modern fighter jets, whose strong sales figures underline its popular appeal and whose dynamics are likely to better suit a keener driver than those of many SUVs of the period.
The fourth-generation Sportage (2016-2021) was designed by Peter Schreyer, also known for his work on the original Audi TT, to be a far more eye-catching proposition than its predecessor, both inside and out. People liked what they saw and the car became a sales success for the South Korean firm. That’s good news for used buyers because it means there are plenty around to choose from today.
