Can it really be 30 years ago that Auto Italia magazine was boldly launched on to an unsuspecting world? Indeed it can! We celebrate in style with our favourite ‘inside’ stories from the last three decades. More than that, two 30-year-old icons – the Alfa Romeo GTV and Fiat Coupé – battle things out in a four-way group test. We have more loads more coupe action this month, too, starting with a Lancia Aurelia B20 coupe restomodded to Outlaw spec. Then there’s the uniquely bizarre Alfa GT Junior ‘Red Submarine’, an OSCA 1600 GT2 and a beautifully restored Ferrari 330 GT. We also reunite a Fiat Balilla with the Brooklands racetrack where it was campaigned in the 1930s.
