Let us start with our front cover piece, and this lady needs no introduction; we give you the wonderful Heidi Kummli. When I first approached Heidi to work with us, I have to admit I may have squealed for quite a while after she said yes. Heidi has always been someone I’ve admired, and after working with her, I can tell you, she is as lovely as her amazing art. That includes the stunning cuff she designed for us. Each piece comes together in perfect harmony. Next up, we have a flower necklace design by myself. I have to say I was somewhat in love with this as I designed it and can see many more in my future. Debora Hodoyer joins us again with her ‘Twist and Flow’ earrings. Fun to make and pretty to wear. If you love GemDuo’s, then Amanda Connell ‘Sahada’ pendant is for you. Hannah Walker has taken a break from polymer clay for this issue to give us a pretty daisy spacer bracelet, and Sue Neel is joining us again, and her necklace is a delightful reminder of old school beading we all know and love. Lastly, for beading, we have Becs Dean-Skinner bringing us all the bling with her ‘Scintilla’ necklace.
Moving away from the bead weaving and onto other mediums, we can start with Tracey Spurgin’s project. Tracey has made a couple of fabulous bicone beads out of PMC and made a pair of earrings you will never want to take out. We also have Alison Tarry and what a showstopper of a necklace she has designed. Full of vintage glamour and perfect for the Regencycore trend that’s big at the moment.
