Autumn came in with a bang this September! One day we had temperatures approaching 30 degrees, and then the next day it was half that with cold winds and rain. However, September and October still remain two of my favourite months of the year to be on the bank. The golden backdrop of trees, the light levels still over 12 hours long, comfortable temperatures and winds that still have some warmth in them despite their strength. The carp seem to like it too, as this month’s incredible array of big carp proves.
