Virgin Money joins custom build sector

Virgin Money has teamed up with self-build and custom build finance experts, BuildStore, to release a brand new mortgage product. It will assist those who are keen to create their own homes on serviced plots of land that already have planning consent and utilities in place. Those who take out the package can pay interest only for up to two years, and have the freedom to switch to an alternative Virgin Money product when construction of the house is complete. The lender will also cover the cost of indemnity insurance.
