Cheering crowds back 2018 MOK Run racers

The winner of last year’s ladies’ 10K race went one better this year, winning the half marathon. In blisteringly hot conditions, but with a cooling breeze last Sunday, Bellahouston Harrier Susan McRitchie’s 01:32:27 win was one of many personal achievements, which included a new men’s 10K record by Matthew Turner in 33.18. McRitchie said: ‘I love the beach, it is really worth travelling all the miles from Glasgow.’
