Breakdown recovery rescues wrestling ring bound for Tarbert


A CLACHAN Hall wrestling fundraiser at Tarbert was nearly left on the canvas when a van carrying the ring broke down.

Lochgilphead’s Stag garage rescue crew saved the day by wrestling the ring onto a tow truck.

The Scottish Wrestling Alliance bout, to raise funds for the Clachan Hall restoration, on Friday of last week, nearly came a cropper with the ring stuck in Minard.
