Cory says you need to put in the hours on Trap and Skeet to build a routine

How did you get into shooting?
Growing up in Texas, I’ve been shooting Trap and Skeet with my Dad since I was 11 years old. He would tell me ‘You’ve no place on a Sporting shoot until you can shoot 100 straight Trap and Skeet targets.’ I now realise this was to see how hard I was willing to work at shooting, and if I was willing to fail, learn and get better. Once I was proficient with a gun, he put me in the hands of Dan Carlisle, who helped me to establish the fundamentals that put me on the road to success.”
