Block new Outlook app from being installed
Microsoft is automatically installing the new Outlook app on Windows 10 computers. It’s part of the optional update that was released on 28 January, and will be included in the compulsory ‘Patch Tuesday’ security update on 11 February.
It claims the new-look Outlook is easier to use because it replaces all the confusing options in Windows, including the Mail and Calendar apps, with one single tool. But many users think it looks like an online tool rather than a downloadable program, and complain it’s too slow and lacks the features they liked in the previous ‘Classic’ version.
