Raspberry Pi 500+
Blows the budget
PC/KEYBOARD ❘ £192 from The Pi Hut www.snipca.com/56693
A blend of classic 1980s Commodore design and modern hardware, we were very impressed by the original Raspberry Pi 500 (£96 from www.snipca. com/56696) when we reviewed it in Issue 702. Having a Linux-based budget PC hidden away inside a reliable chiclet keyboard, ready to go, made it far easier to set up than previous generations of the Pi, and its performance levels were good enough to handle light office work and web browsing – all at a respectable price.
Its new SSD makes the 500+ remarkably snappy, but it costs almost the same as a mini PC
