TIP OF THE FORTNIGHT
Include ‘out of stock’ items in Amazon searches
Issue 723’s Cover Feature on Amazon should help me find well-priced stocking-fillers this Christmas. I was already a regular shopper on its Renewed section (www.snipca. com/56830), where I’ve bought refurbished tablets, laptops and phones in the past. They’ve all worked well.
One tip that helps me check if I’m getting a good price is ticking the ‘Include Out of Stock’ box (see screenshot right). This makes sense because items that are temporarily unavailable often go back on sale soon after. It means I can then shop on other renewed sites to see if they’re offering a decent price.
The box you need to tick is under the Availability heading on the left, at the bottom of the long list of filters. The other filter I use a lot is ‘Free UK Delivery by Amazon’, right at the top.

SECURITY
Keep passwords in digital filing cabinets
I was interested to read Issue 720’s Cover Feature on password managers, but was disappointed in your Gold award winner Bitwarden (https://bitwarden.com). I found it quite restrictive and inflexible, as were a couple of others you mentioned that I tried.
