“On a recent trip to north Wales, I knew I wanted to try capturing a sunset at the old Twr Mawr Lighthouse, located on a stunning tidal island off the coast of Anglesey. It’s a bit of a hike across the beach from the car park but it’s well worth it for a stunning location to watch the sunset.”Instagram: @KRwinterphotos

2 ‘Hallett Peak’ by Melissa Richards

“Wind gusts of 60-70mph made this a difficult shot of Hallett Peak in Colorado, USA. I had to keep hiding behind some rocks, waiting for the wind to subside enough to get a steady shot, but it was worth the effort. The frigid conditions didn’t make it any easier, but the snow blowing off the peaks made the shot.” Captured with a Sony RX100 at 34mm. Instagram: @kelvin_images
