DIVA: Your songs put us in mind of Suzanne Vega, KD Lang and Joan Baez. Who would you say are your biggest musical influences?

SOFIA B: I grew up listening to a lot of Bryan Adams and Eric Clapton with my dad in the car. He plays guitar so he’s really into artists who can accompany themselves. My mum used to play Elvis and Harry Belafonte, who really are quite polar opposites, but definitely play a big part in my musical journey.
