Wartime was Doctor Who’s first independent spin-off drama, starring John Levene as UNIT’s Sergeant Benton. First released direct to video in 1987, Wartime has now been released as part of Wartime Chronicles – a two-disc collector’s edition DVD set.

Also included on the set are the documentaries ReUNITed (a history of UNIT) and Jon Pertwee & UNIT Live on Stage (a UNIT panel from the 1986 convention PanoptiCon VII), as well as behind-the-scenes material and a brand-new introduction from Katy Manning (alias companion Jo Grant) and producer Keith Barnfather.

Wartime Chronicles is available now on Amazon from Koch Media, priced £14.99.

DWM has FIVE copies of the DVD set to give away to readers who can successfully rearrange the letters in the yellow squares to form the name of monsters encountered by Sergeant Benton in Doctor Who.
