■ The Worshipful Company of Broderers is delighted to announce that the Broderers’ Exhibition is returning to the Bankside Gallery in London between 25 February and 2 March 2025 and is currently inviting submissions.
The Broderers’ Exhibition: The Art of Embroidery promotes and celebrates embroidery as fine art. It is an open-submission art event, similar in concept to the Summer Exhibition at the Royal Academy. Professional as well as emerging artists can enter their artwork to be considered for inclusion.
The exhibition is organised by the Worshipful Company of Broderers, one of the ancient livery companies of the City of London, formed to regulate the standard of embroidery, a major City trade in the Middle Ages.
