t’s touchdown in the UK as I’ve just returned from a brilliant two-week trip to South Africa. My wife and I were over for the SA Classic TT (it’s got nothing the do with the TT we all know and love, so I’m not sure why they call it that, in all honestly) and we had a bloody great time. The event is held over two weekends, the first being at Welkom, which is where the South African Grand Prix used to be held – you might remember Rossi beating Biaggi there on his first go on the Yamaha. The second round is held at Redstar, just outside Johannesburg.
