Hi guys, I’m going to start this month by letting you know how my Endurance Race went, you know, the one I’ve been mentioning and looking forward to for months now on the classic Suzuki Katana, remember? Yeah, that endurance race that lasted about one minute and ten seconds in total! It was at Donington and practice went well even though I’ve only done eight laps. James Whitham went well on it, but I was as fast as my other team-mate who had tested it and he’s a lot younger than me. I was pretty pleased.
It was quite a nice beast and handled well with about 150bhp to play with. Whitham was fastest so he was going to start for us, which is fair enough. We’d practiced our pit stops with the quick release stuff, all the Suzuki brass were there, pictures were taken and videos were filmed, it was all a big official do. So at the race start we waved James off, and then didn’t see him again…
