QUICK
SOLUTIONS
Dig up a clump of mint from the garden and bring it into the greenhouse to help it produce some early young shoots. Lift a small clump and plant it in a pot of peat-free multipurpose compost at the same depth that it was at in the ground. Water it in, then place it on the greenhouse bench, making sure it receives as much light as possible.
TOP TIP
Bring overwintered fuchsias back into growth by spraying them with a fine mist of room-temperature water on warm days. Start watering regularly once new shoots are visible.
