One billion people worldwide now experience allergies, and the rate is rising in the developed and developing world. Classic allergens, such as pollen and dust, have been joined by a whole new bunch of ordinary, everyday foods that once seemed safe. Things such as wheat, milk, eggs, peanuts and numerous others have become a major problem for millions of people.
Are you affected?
You may not think of yourself as allergic. Your nose may not run, your skin may not itch. But you may have common complaints that just won’t go away. A hidden allergy may be the culprit.
FEELING FATIGUED? There is a strong link between allergy and fatigue. Though it often goes unrecognised, this is a common problem, called allergic tension-fatigue syndrome. Food allergy, often to things such as wheat, corn, milk or chocolate, is frequently considered to be the cause.
