Apple is no fan of new social platform Parler Apple news
Following the removal of Donald Trump from both Facebook and Twitter’s social platforms Apple has joined forces with other
App Store owners by banning the Parler app.
A statement from Apple reads, “We have always supported diverse points of view being represented on the App Store, but there is no place on our platform for threats of violence and illegal activity. Parler has not taken adequate measures to address the proliferation of these threats to people’s safety. We have suspended Parler from the App Store until they resolve these issues.”
Apple may release new iPhone SE and 2nd gen AirPods Pro in April iPhone news
With Apple’s iPhone 12 proving to be a successful launch in 2020, people are already speculating on what Apple may have in store for us in 2021. A popular prediction is that Apple will release a new iPhone SE and 2nd generation AirPods Pro earbuds.
As reported by Mac Otakara, “Chinese suppliers have told us that the AirPods Pro (2nd generation), which will be released in April 2021 at the same time as the iPhone SE (3rd generation), will have a new design for the charging case, which will remain 21mm thick, but will be 46mm high and 54mm wide, sources said.
The current AirPods Pro charging case is 60mm wide and a little over 45mm high, so it appears the next generation will get a little bit smaller. However, a contradictory report also suggests that the new AirPods released in 2021 will be more of a ‘lite’ version of the existing design, without the noise cancelling. Meanwhile Analyst Ming-Chi Kuo says Apple is not expected to make any significant upgrades to the iPhone’s camera lens next year.
