Pardon? What’s that? Sorry, can’t hear you? Can you take me off speaker? Please hold it to your mouth… If you’ve ever been on a call and heard those words (or indeed uttered them yourself) the chances are that your voice isn’t coming across loud and clear. Perhaps you’re in a noisy environment and there’s lots of ambient noise. If so, help is at hand thanks to Voice Isolation. If you’re on a call using apps such as Zoom, FaceTime, WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger and Slack, you should be able to turn it on for that app. It doesn’t always make your voice sound natural but you’ll be heard!
