Apple has improved its Apple Music service a lot over the past year. It quietly rolled out lossless audio – at no extra cost to Apple Music subscribers – and introduced support for Dolby Atmos, as well as introducing its own immersive sound technology in the form of Spatial Audio (which utilises the various sensors in AirPods Pro or AirPods Max to create a listening space that adjusts as you move your head). In the Ventura update, Apple has also added notifications for the bands or artists that you follow, so you’ll be alerted as soon as new music is released.
